Chief Secretary of Balochistan
The Chief Secretary of Balochistan is the highest-ranking civil servant in the provincial government of Balochistan, Pakistan. This position is pivotal for the administration and coordination of various government departments and policies within the province.
The Chief Secretary acts as the principal advisor to the Chief Minister of Balochistan and plays a crucial role in implementing the policies and directives of the provincial government.However, the Chief Secretary is not under the authority of the Chief Minister of Balochistan, as only the Prime Minister can appoint or remove the Chief Secretary from their position.
Along with overseeing the province’s administration, the Chief Secretary also acts as the primary advisor to the Chief Minister and fulfills the role of Secretary to the provincial Cabinet..
